Content Marketing Manager

We are looking for a talented Content Marketing Manager to take full responsibility for our inbound marketing strategies including overseeing the planning and coordinating the execution of video, long-form written content, pillar pages, blogs, and social media, with the express purpose of building the brand, driving leads, and contributing to our RevOps team targets. The content you create will be for Struto, not our clients and will also underpin our ABM strategy. 

Our ideal candidate is a creative marketing professional, preferably with a writing background but be keen to embrace video as part of the content mix. You should be able to develop engaging content to attract and retain customers. For this position, it’s also essential to be up-to-date with new technologies and marketing trends. 

Ultimately, you should be able to expand our company’s digital footprint and brand awareness. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Work with the CEO and RevOps team to align our new business sales and marketing efforts whilst also engaging our existing customers
  • Design content marketing strategies and set short-term goals 
  • Undertake content marketing initiatives to achieve business targets 
  • Work with subject matter experts across the business to create content 
  • Collaborate with design and source writers to produce high quality content 
  • Develop editorial calendar, delegate tasks and ensure deadlines are met 
  • Deliver engaging content on a regular basis and inspire team members 
  • Edit, proofread, and improve content 
  • Optimise content considering SEO and analyse web traffic 
  • Share content through various channels, ensuring strong web presence 
  • Receive customer feedback and generate ideas to increase customer engagement 
  • Be able to analyse and report on your work 

 

Requirements and skills 

  • Proven work experience as a Content marketing manager preferably with some agency side experience although this position is internal to Struto 
  • Proficient use of technology including, Office Suite, HubSpot, SEMrush, HotJar and Google analytics 
  • Understanding of web publishing requirements 
  • Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences 
  • Hands-on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics 
  • Expertise in social media platforms 
  • Project management skills and attention to detail 
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English 
  • Effective in front and behind the camera 
  • BSc degree in Marketing, Journalism or relevant field
