Understanding the nature and structure of your data before moving to HubSpot is a critical success factor. When migrating from one system to another, there is a strong possibility that the data will need to be cleaned and transformed before migration. Not only that but there is again a strong possibility that a certain amount of customisation will be needed to be done in HubSpot to accommodate your legacy data.

Migrate standard data

Standard data is easily managed using HubSpot's built-in import tool and requires minimal customisation to the data structure in HubSpot.

HubSpot allows us to import standard data against the Contact, Company, Deal or Ticket standard objects without the need to intervene using third party software or use the HubSpot API.

Our team will do a light scoping exercise to clarify which properties will be migrated before importing the data and determining which custom properties will be created.

Migrating standard data includes:
  • Migrating data from a single data source
  • Mapping your data to existing HubSpot fields
  • Creating custom fields that don't exist under a standard object
Migrating standard data does not include:
  • Cleaning your data before import
  • Transforming data before import
  • Data that requires third party software or the use of the API
